PurpleSpace members and friends, you are warmly invited to our celebration event on 8th December, where we toast our first-year anniversary and launch our unique publication ‘Purple Stories’ – designed to make it easier for disabled employees to share their story of disability for personal and business success.
We are being joined by Simon Minty who will be chairing a panel discussion about why, when and how to share personal stories of disability or ill health. We will hear from Fiona Anderson the author of ‘Purple Stories’ and Dawn Milman-Hurst CEO of Equal Approach and sponsor of the publication.
We are thrilled to be returning to Herbert Smith Freehills where it all began in 2015. In our first 12 months we have: established a new national working party to examine the characteristics of #ourdisabilityconfidence, published #VirtuallyPurple, a guide for network leaders in how to use social media and launched the Equal Approach Bursary scheme for emerging talent in government departments and have awarded 9 bursaries.

It has been an extraordinary year and 2017 sees us extend our work and reach. Come and join us for a panel discussion, drinks and nibbles, as we bring together the most remarkable network of purple change agents and our allies, building confidence from the inside out.
