A client organisation was seeking to recruit financial applications analysts and Java developers for its Information and Corporate headquarters in Belgium. It wanted to create a balanced workforce, attract a diverse pool of talent, and develop a reputation of an equal opportunity employer. As part of our diversity and inclusion support strategy, the roles were advertised nationally, regionally and internationally. The calls for applications were structured to invite applicants from diverse backgrounds, with a strong focus on attracting female candidates. Following a carefully targeted search Contracts IT were able to fill 70% of the available positions with female candidates. These candidates were placed primarily on merit and ability to perform the job.
